Fatehpur Sikri is a historical town in the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. It was settled by the Mughal Emperor Akbar between 1571 and 1585. It is 35 km away from Agra. The Buland Darwaza here is a World Heritage Site, which is 53.63 meters high and 35 meters wide. Fatehpur Sikri is the best example of a mixture of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The Fatehpur Sikri Masjid is said to be an imitation of the Mosque of Mecca and its designs are taken from Hindu and Parsi architecture. Fatehpur Sikri Timings which are from sunrise to sunset which means 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Visitor can book visiting ticket online.
